At Precision Ready Mix, we offer stabilizing and strengthening chemical additives which maintain a strong, balanced and reliable concrete mixture from the moment it leaves our plant, for up to 3 hours.
Terracon, sourced by Cemex, tested eighteen cylinders of our mix designs. All eighteen cylinders heavily overperformed the respective strength rating.
REDUCERS
Reducers add strength and lengthen the lifespan of the mixture while still in the truck.
Without a reducing chemical, delivery distance, speed of labor and/or meticulous style jobs that take a little longer to perform can often result in compromised integrity of the concrete. Using a proven reducer allows the time necessary to achieve a well crafted, stronger and more durable end result.
RETARDERS
Retarders are used to maintain desired viscosity for optimal finishing performance.
Many factors such as temperature and aggregate are balanced when compounding each mix designs. Using a retarder can keep your concrete from “drying up” too quickly on those extremely hot days, and also maintain specialty styles.
FIBER
Fiber additives provide key benefits such as energy absorption, crack control and flexural strength.
Fiber additives enhance mechanical bonding properties of concrete. PRM uses a state of the art fiber, allowing a smooth, strong, durable finish. The use of fiber in ready mixed concrete is an incredibly low investment for maintaining the durability of your project.
